AI Engineer

Solo founders bring an idea — Egbe takes it from research to a shipped product, finds the first users, and handles support and operations. Fully autonomous, end-to-end. We're a small team, and we're looking for an AI engineer to help us make this real.

• •Build End-to-End: Build and iterate on Egbe's core autonomous AI system — from backend infrastructure to LLM pipelines and product logic.
• •Ship From Ideas: Take a high-level goal or an early idea and independently turn it into a working, shipped feature.
• •Act As a Founder: Act as a technical thinking partner — ask the right questions, shape the solution, own the outcome.
• •Prototype & Validate: Rapidly prototype and validate ideas, then improve what works.
• •Evaluate and Improve Quality: Evaluate and improve LLM output quality systematically — measure and optimize results.

• •Your work shapes the product and the company.

• •Software Engineering Background: Strong backend software engineering — you've built and shipped real products end-to-end.
• •AI / LLM Experience: Hands-on experience with LLMs, agents, tools, evals and RAG.
• •Product Mindset: You can take an abstract idea from a non-technical founder and figure out what to build and how.
• •Comfort With Ambiguity: You don't need a detailed task description to get started; you define it yourself.
• •Would be a plus: startup or founding experience, high-load backend or API architecture, or interest in building your own product.
