Description
What you'll do
- •Execute the Licensing Roadmap: Directly manage and execute new license applications (VASP, MTL, and international equivalents) across all 2026 target jurisdictions.
- •Product Compliance Ownership: Partner with Product and Engineering from ideation to launch, providing the regulatory guardrails for new asset classes and trading features.
- •Regulatory Liaison: Act as a primary point of contact for regulatory inquiries, examinations, and reporting requirements, ensuring 100% standing with global oversight bodies.
- •Landscape Analysis: Monitor global legislative shifts (MiCA, SEC/CFTC developments, etc.) and proactively translate them into technical and operational requirements for the platform.
Conditions
- •The base pay for this role is expected to be between $196,000 - $215,000 in New York City.
- •This role will also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance linked bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package. Actual compensation for a successful candidate will be determined based on a number of factors such as location, skillset, experience, qualifications and the level at which the candidate is hired.
Requirements
- •A seasoned regulatory attorney with 4+ years of experience in fintech, crypto, or institutional finance.
- •Proven experience navigating complex, multi-jurisdictional licensing processes.
- •An expert at distilling opaque regulatory guidance into clear, actionable business advice.
