Description

What you'll do

  • •Prepare a set of standard images for operating systems used on company servers and replace existing OS with standard images using IaC;
  • •Administration and maintenance of physical and virtual servers;
  • •Cover existing infrastructure with IaC tools, optimize and refactor configurations;
  • •Configure HDFS;
  • •Configure and maintain AD and LDAP;
  • •Optimize and keep the monitoring system up-to-date, as well as monitoring rules and dashboards in your area of responsibility.

Requirements

  • •Confident knowledge of Linux OS structure, experience in preparing, updating, and supporting base images for major popular distributions (CentOS, AlmaLinux, Debian), understanding and skills in working with cloud-init;
  • •Practical experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, or SaltStack);
  • •Skills in administering and supporting Proxmox, AWS, and other cloud platforms;
  • •Understanding of distributed systems architecture and approaches to ensure fault tolerance (clustering, backup, replication);
  • •Skills in working with one or more systems: Ceph, GlusterFS, MinIO OR skills in administering HDFS;
