Description
What you'll do
- •Ensure compliance with legal requirements for occupational safety, health protection, fire protection, and environmental protection.
- •Advise management and employees on all aspects of occupational safety, health protection, fire protection, and environmental protection.
- •Lead your team both disciplinarily and professionally, manage personnel planning, and promote your colleagues through targeted mentoring.
- •Responsible for the development and maintenance of emergency concepts and reporting systems.
- •Create evaluations and reports on key safety metrics and initiate preventive measures in close coordination with your management team.
- •Maintain collaboration with the professional association, local authorities, fire department, company doctor, and works council.
- •Organize training for first aiders, fire protection, and evacuation helpers.
- •Act as a liaison and contact person for cross-departmental projects and represent the safety department at important events.

Requirements
- •Successfully completed a technical degree or comparable training with a technician, engineering, or master’s degree.
- •Qualification as a safety specialist (according to ASiG), safety engineer, and fire protection officer, along with three or more years of professional experience in safety/occupational safety.
- •Knowledge in environmental management.
- •Stay updated on developments in occupational and fire protection and be eager to obtain additional qualifications in HSE.
- •Take full responsibility for your tasks and independently identify new challenges.
- •Proactively develop ideas to optimize processes and strengthen our safety culture.
- •Proficient in using software, apps, and web tools, with a desire to deepen knowledge in Google Workspace.
- •Strong communication skills and the ability to convey knowledge understandably.
