Manager, Engineering (Nova)

• •Lead and support a team of engineers building agentic and AI-enabled product experiences.
• •Partner closely with Product, Design, and Data Science leadership to translate AI capabilities into scalable, user-facing experiences.

The US base salary range for this position at the start of employment is $156,000 - $242,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by specific US work location, as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and internal equity considerations. The total compensation package includes variable pay, equity, plus a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and financial. Perks and other details are provided by the employer.

• •Have at least 5 years of hands-on software development experience.
• •Have at least 3 years of experience managing and growing software engineering teams.
• •Strong background in application or platform engineering, ideally in a SaaS environment.
• •Experience leading teams that integrate AI or ML-powered capabilities into production systems.
• •Comfort operating at the intersection of product, platform, and data science teams.
• •Strong technical judgment across system design, APIs, distributed systems, and developer workflows.
• •Experience working with modern backend and frontend stacks.
• •Ability to navigate ambiguity, make pragmatic trade-offs, and drive execution across multiple initiatives.
• •Excellent communication skills and ability to align technical work with business and product goals.

• •Experience leading teams building agentic or LLM-powered product experiences.
• •Familiarity with agent frameworks such as Mastra or similar orchestration tools.
• •Prior work on decisioning engines, rules engines, or real-time personalization systems.
• •Experience collaborating closely with Data Science and ML teams on production integrations.

• •Experience scaling teams and systems in a remote-first environment.
