Description

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • •Financial Reporting & Close
  • •Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  • •Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP or IFRS.
  • •Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • •Oversee general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  • •Technical Accounting
  • •Research and interpret accounting standards and apply them to complex transactions.
  • •Develop accounting policies and ensure consistent application across the organization.
  • •Partner with external auditors on technical accounting matters and audit deliverables.
  • •Internal Controls & Compliance
  • •Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting.
  • •Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and reporting requirements.
  • •Support internal and external audit processes.
  • •Process Improvement & Systems
  • •Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiencies.
  • •Partner with Finance Systems and cross-functional teams to enhance ERP and reporting tools.
  • •Implement scalable accounting procedures to support business growth.
  • •Team Leadership
  • •Manage, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
  • •Establish clear performance goals and provide ongoing feedback.
  • •Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • •Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • •Partner with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and Operations teams.
  • •Provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives and new product launches.

Requirements

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • •Required
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • •5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS.
  • •Experience managing the month-end close and financial reporting processes.
  • •Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
  • •Preferred
  • •CPA (or equivalent professional certification).
  • •Experience in fintech, crypto, or financial services industries preferred.
  • •Experience with multinational entities and multi-currency accounting.
  • •Internal controls and audit management experience.
