Description

Core Responsibilities

  • •Manage a virtual Apple or Windows estates (AWS / AZURE etc)
  • •Design/Build/Support automation solutions.
  • •Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Terraform/Bicep.
  • •Build secure environments (e.g., Bastion access, VDI redesign).
  • •Lead systems integration efforts across SaaS platforms.
  • •Support incident response and root cause analysis.
  • •Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering on automation and IaC.
  • •Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience

  • •Advanced proficiency in Endpoint Management (Jamf Pro, Intune).
  • •Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, and IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep).
  • •Solid experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), including VMs, networking, and IAM.
  • •Proven ability to design and implement secure environments (e.g., Bastion, VDI).
  • •Experience with systems integration (Slack, Teams, Atlassian, etc.).
  • •Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog).
  • •Understanding of patching, OS upgrades, and endpoint lifecycle management.
  • •Problem Solving: Proactively identifies issues and proposes effective solutions.
  • •Mentorship: Supports junior engineers through coaching and knowledge sharing.
  • •Cross-Team Collaboration: Works effectively with DevOps, Engineering, and Service Delivery teams.
  • •Project Ownership: Leads infrastructure projects with minimal supervision.
  • •Adaptability: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities.
