Description
Responsibilities
- •Strategic Finance:
- •Build financial models for commercial partnerships, token economics, and new AI product initiatives.
- •Prepare internal memos, board materials, and analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- •Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and propose optimizations for ecosystem growth.
- •Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- •Oversee outsourced accounting functions, maintain financial forecast models, assist in annual budgeting, and coordinate treasury operations across multi-signature wallets, on-chain accounts, and off-chain entities.
- •Operations & Foundation Support:
- •Partner on entity structuring, capital flows, and payment processes with ecosystem partners.
- •Manage fund disbursements, grants programs, and governance protocols for the Sentient Foundation.
- •Identify and implement improvements to financial and operational systems to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- •Risk & Viability Assessment:
- •Evaluate the financial viability and commercial risks of AI and blockchain products, including pricing strategies, deal structuring, and ecosystem economics.
- •Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- •Act as a bridge between Finance, Product, Business Operations, and Go-to-Market teams to solve complex problems and drive measurable outcomes.
Requirements
Requirements
- •2–5 years of experience in investment banking, strategic finance, corporate development, venture finance, startup operations, or a related field.
- •Strong financial modeling skills (advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency required; experience with Python or data science tools a plus).
- •Deep interest in and understanding of blockchain, AI, and financial products, including economics, tokenomics, risk management, and treasury operations.
- •Proven ability to handle novel, cross-functional challenges with a "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude, delivering results in lean, iterative environments.
- •Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to juggle tactical execution and strategic thinking.
- •Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a quantitative field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
