Description

What you'll do

  • โ€ขManage full general ledger accounting for assigned legal entities
  • โ€ขPerform and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities
  • โ€ขPrepare and post journal entries, accruals, and prepayments
  • โ€ขPerform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items
  • โ€ขMaintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
  • โ€ขEnsure compliance with local GAAP and IFRS requirements
  • โ€ขSupport preparation of statutory financial statements and liaise with external auditors
  • โ€ขAssist with internal and external audits by preparing supporting documentation
  • โ€ขCoordinate with AP, AR, HR, and Tax teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data
  • โ€ขSupport intercompany reconciliations and transactions
  • โ€ขContribute to process improvements and standardization initiatives
  • โ€ขEnsure adherence to internal controls and company policies

Requirements

  • โ€ขMaster degree in Accounting, Finance or related
  • โ€ขAt least 5 years of experience in accounting
  • โ€ขExperience working with multiple legal entities
  • โ€ขVery good knowledge of accounting principles, US GAAP and FRS 102
  • โ€ขExperience supporting statutory audits
  • โ€ขExcellent communication skills
  • โ€ขFluent Polish and English (C1-C2) (written and spoken)
  • โ€ขOther European languages will be a strong advantage
  • โ€ขProficiency in MS Office tools, especially MS Excel
  • โ€ขExperience with MS D365 is strong advantage
  • โ€ขExperience in process transitions
  • โ€ขAbility to work independently and meet tight deadlines
